General preparation guidance. Company-specific file acceptance, processes and capabilities require confirmation / 待确认.
STEP 01
Start with the commercial scope
Identify the board or assembly revision, the quantity for each variant and whether you need bare boards, assembly or both. Separate prototype and later-build quantities. State your desired delivery date as a request, and explain any event or integration dependency. A quotation can only establish a schedule after scope, material availability and approvals are reviewed.
STEP 02
Describe the bare board
Provide a fabrication archive and a drawing or requirements sheet. Record the board outline, layer count, requested material, thickness, copper and surface finish. Flag critical dimensions, special construction and any controlled impedance requirement. If a choice is open, label it as a question instead of selecting a value only to complete the form.
STEP 03
Add assembly scope when needed
Identify who supplies the PCB and who purchases each component group. Prepare the BOM, placement data and assembly drawing for the same revision. State which parts are not fitted, which substitutions need approval and whether you have customer-owned parts or fixtures.
STEP 04
Define acceptance and handover
Describe how the finished item will be inspected or tested. Distinguish a requested functional test from a general statement that the board should work. Specify who provides test instructions and fixtures, and identify packaging, labeling or documentation requirements. These are discussion inputs, not automatically included services.
STEP 05
Make open questions visible
Include a short README with the package revision, a file inventory and unresolved decisions. Ask for the quotation to identify assumptions and exclusions. Do not release production data until those questions have a recorded answer and all parties reference the same revision.
BEFORE HANDOVER
Final checklist
- Service type, revision and per-variant quantity are stated.
- PCB requirements and assembly sourcing responsibilities are separated.
- Uncertain specifications are identified for engineering review.
- Requested date, test expectations and packaging needs are included.
