General preparation guidance. Company-specific file acceptance, processes and capabilities require confirmation / 待确认.
STEP 01
Export from one controlled revision
Export all fabrication files from the approved board revision into a clean folder. Remove obsolete alternatives and temporary outputs. Name the archive and its README so the receiving team can identify the design and revision without guessing. If a change is made, regenerate the related outputs and send a clearly identified replacement package.
STEP 02
Explain the intended construction
Include the required copper, mask and legend outputs for the design, an unambiguous board profile and the required hole information. Supply a layer map so file names can be matched to their functions. A stack-up drawing or structured job information can carry construction details that individual layer images do not explain.
STEP 03
Review holes, slots and alignment
Identify plated and non-plated holes and any special drill spans or slots. Check that the profile and hole data align with the circuit layers in a suitable viewer. Confirm units and dimensional intent in the drawing. Ask the receiving team which drill representation and file conventions it accepts rather than assuming every exporter uses the same settings.
STEP 04
Inspect the exported data
Open the exported set, not only the source CAD layout. Examine each layer and the combined view for missing features, incorrect layer mapping, stray objects and alignment problems. Compare the resulting outline with the controlled mechanical drawing. A viewer check helps find export mistakes but does not replace the manufacturer’s feasibility review.
STEP 05
Package the requirements and questions
Include material and finish requirements, stack-up intent, critical tolerances and any special notes. Keep the archive organized and provide a simple file inventory. Ask engineering to acknowledge the revision and resolve conflicts between the drawing and data before production. In this website preview, selecting the ZIP does not transmit it.
BEFORE HANDOVER
Final checklist
- The archive contains one clearly identified design revision.
- Layer functions, board profile and hole information are identifiable.
- Exported files have been visually checked together.
- Construction notes and unresolved requirements accompany the data.
